The CEO of Sveriges annonsörer, Anders Ericson, claims that social media is just a temporary trend that people soon will forget. He also states that if a firm have managed to create a strong brand for itself, it doesn't need to market itself in social media. A strong brand will eventually have ambassadors who take care of their marketing indirectly in social media.
This is quite a big matter that needs to be discussed. I don't agree with Ericson in this case. I don't think social media have even shown everything it can do yet.
